Become a Certified Tween Leader!
The mission of the Believe in She Girls Leadership Camp is to inspire our daughters to be confident leaders in their community. Over the course of a week, we empower them to stand tall, let go of girl drama and make healthier choices. We help them DOWNLOAD their feelings about bullies and frenemies, DIG DEEP to find the beauty in who they are and DREAM about the life they want to live.
In this camp we encourage the girls to think beyond their day to day lives. Over the course of the week we help the girls define the qualities that make a good leader and identify how they can be the change they want to see in the world. Each girl creates a real life leadership project and learns everything she needs to know in order to make this dream a reality including how to set goals, communicate effectively with others and how to plan an event.
A typical day includes yoga, conversation about what it means to be a leader in a variety of real life situations, fun confidence building games, a cooking project to make a healthy lunchbox lunch, journaling, an art project and a karma yoga project to give back to our community.
On the last day of camp everyone is invited to a graduation ceremony where the girls will teach a yoga class to the moms and receive their Tween Leader Certification. They will then have the opportunity to become a member of the Guru Crew and a Tween Leader at future Believe in She events.
